It’s Mardi Gras! Let’s burn stuff! There
is a Christian tradition of burning
palms from the previous Palm Sunday to create ashes for Ash Wednesday.
What better way to transition into the season of Lent than to have a Mardi Gras
party that will end around the fire as we burn the palms? Join us in celebration at 7 pm the night before Ash
Wednesday, Tuesday February 21. If you are willing to add to the festivities in
any way (food, drink, party tunes...) contact Bridget 713-417-2056.
Ash
Wednesday is February 22, Grace will
observe the day with special services at noon and 7 pm.
